Panther Wildlife Management Area is located in the rugged hills near West Virginia's southern border with Virginia and Kentucky, Panther offers a six-site campground with electric hook-ups, fireplace and picnic table, in heavily wooded surroundings. The group camp facility is popular with family reunions and groups.
Hiking trails to scenic overlooks, trout fishing, picnicking, swimming and hunting are also featured at the WMA.
